Tasting notes
As you begin your journey this wine opens with spicy white pepper, transitioning into violets and blueberries, with a hint of black olive in the middle and a subtle oak tannin finish. Roast leg of lamb is our first choice for dinner. Drink now or age for 6-7 years.

There are 2.2 acres of Syrah featuring two premium clones, Hermitage and 877. Managed by Prudy Fox, the vineyards are planted with quality and sustainability as the primary objectives, and is maintained with careful hands-on management. Sustainable agricultural practices include; no herbicide use, VSP trellising, careful canopy management. Harvesting approximately 3 tons per acre.
Grapes are hand harvested. 80% whole berry, 20% crushed. Fermented in 1.5 ton bins. Punched down three times a day. One day cold soak eight day fermentation, nine day total maceration. Highest fermentation temp @ 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Pressed at -0.5 brix.
Cooperage: 60% French Oak, 40% Neutral French Oak
