At the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Victoria Denice Vineyard grows a superior petite sirah. Pepper and berry jam initially come forward, then spicy nutmeg and toasty oak notes prevail. Aged 26 months in new American and French Oak, this wine is cellar-worthy. Pair with robust hearty meats for a delicious complement.

This vineyard sits just east of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The vines are drip irrigated and on various trellis systems based on location within the vineyard. Average yield in this vintage was 3.8 tons per acre.
Grapes are hand harvested. 85% whole berry, 15% crushed. Fermented in stainless steel tank. Nine day fermentation, Nine days total maceration. Highest fermentation temp @ 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Pumped over three times per day. Pressed at 0.6 brix.
